Mission Statement: The California Surf Museum serves as an international repository and resource center on the lifestyle sport of surfing through capturing, preserving, and chronicling its art, culture and heritage for the education and enjoyment of future generations.

The California Surf Museum was founded in February 1986 when architect/surfer Stuart Resor appeared in a local newspaper article inviting interested people to found a museum to honor the history of surfing. Thirteen various folks showed up, formed a board of directors, and went to work! Looking for a place to call home, CSM was first based in an Encinitas restaurant (George's, owned by co-founder Jane Schmauss). CSM then had a one-year stint in its own showcase in Moonlight Plaza in Encinitas, then two years in the Promenade Plaza in Pacific Beach. From 1991-1996, CSM was located across the street from Oceanside's Pier, with a block-sized lot to hold plenty of outdoor events and enjoy amazing sunsets. In 1996, CSM moved inland four blocks to Coast Highway, across from the Oceanside Civic Center. In early 2009, CSM settled into its spacious new premises at 312 Pier View Way. Whew! What a ride Featuring the CSM's most recent location, once a drug store, on Coast Highway, and its stunning new home.

Guildford Action is an independent registered charity, which has been working within the local community for over 30 years helping Individuals experiencing homelessness as well as isolated families. We have seen a massive increase in numbers of those accessing the projects over the past year due to economic climate and social welfare reforms. The projects are:

The Guildford Action Day Service that supports those who are homeless, have been homeless or those on a low income, through meeting basic need as well as group work. We offer showers, access to primary healthcare, clothing, food alongside non-judgemental advice and advocacy within the safe warm environment of the centre.

The GAF (Guildford Action for Families) support service, which supports isolated families with all issues involving the bringing up of children. We aim to maximise the potential of every child and family, we come into contact with. The GAF Team work with families in their own homes through outreach. Also drop-in sessions within the families own communities to increase confidence and self esteem.

The Get Wise Project, The GAF in partnership with other agencies delivers a Surrey County Council commissioned scheme that engages with families that have been identified as being in poverty and in need of benefit and welfare advice. The project offered benefits advice to 257 families over the course of last year mostly via outreach Monday to Friday.

Issues faced by those we support may include debt, housing, mental health challenges, isolation, relationship breakdown, domestic abuse, parenting skills, employment and substance misuse.

The Surrey Minor Lacrosse Association was established in 1973 in what was then The Corporation of the District of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada to provide minor box lacrosse to the community.

It belongs to the specie Thunnus thynnus, from the cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean, the bluefin is the largest tuna there is and therefore the most tasteful, we may see the different types of meat as the akame (less fat), chu toro and ho toro (more fat).

Our tuna is captured according to the Japanese know-how. The tuna capture is probably as important as its quality, in a deficient capture it loses blood which means losing quality and flavour.

Our salmon is upper category, 1st class of the three existing categories

We only buy large dimensions of salmon from Norway (6 to 9 kg each) as it preserve better the flavour and consistency
