The first organization of forestry extends back to 1839, during rule of Ottoman Empire. The establishment of the first management planning team in 1916 and the preparation of the first management plan 1917 fall in this period. The first Forest Law was also released in the same year.

The development of the forest legislation gained momentum after the establishment of the Republic of Turkey. The first forest decree of the Republic of Turkey enacted in 1924.

The Forest Law No. 3116 enacted in 1937 made first legal definition of forest and introduced the first set of forest policies. The Forest Act had been subject to many amendments until the preparation of the new Forest Law (No 6831) in 1956. This Law has been under implementation since then, but again, with many amendments.

After the experience with private national and foreign contractors of forests for management, all forests were nationalized in 1945. This year marks as one of the important benchmarks of forestry history. That year is also remembered with the broke of extensive forest fires far ahead the averages. In 1950 the nationalized forests were restituted to their former owners. The maquis also were excluded from forest regime.

For long years, all forestry activities were carried out by single organization, The General Directorate of Forestry (GDF). GDF has been a "a public legal entity" as a connected unit (see part 4.4) to various ministries but generally to the Ministry of Agriculture. Then the Ministry of Forestry was founded in 1970. Some of the functions of GDF, such as aforestation, nurseries, national parks, protected areas, wild-life and game, were taken to the responsibility of the Ministry of Forestry. The Ministry was re-founded again in 1991. Finally in 2003, it has been merged with the Ministry of Environment. GDF has been kept intact and connected, this time, to the MEF.

OGM was established in 1962 and B E Wightman grew the business over the next 40 years through a dedication to high-quality in the products and the service we provide our customers and a commitment to fairness. Today, these values remain at the heart of everything we do.

In 1968, we moved to premises in Eynsham, near Oxford. Over the next thirty years, our business grew consistently year-on-year, and more space was needed to keep up with customer demand for plastic injection mouldings. The Ohio Home Care Waiver benefit package consists of nursing services, personal care assistance services and/or skilled therapy services, plus one or more waiver specific services (eg. home modifications, home delivered meals, adult day health care, etc). It is designed to meet the needs of consumers eligible for Medicaid who have been assessed to require an intermediate or skilled level of care. Without the services available through the Waiver benefit, these consumers are at risk for hospital or nursing home placement. Consumers approved for the OHC Waiver benefit may receive care and services at home, or they may choose to receive their care in a nursing facility.

Consumers enrolled in the Ohio Home Care Waiver and Transitions Waiver benefit packages are provided a variety of services through the OHCP's contracted case management agency, CareStar. These services include home care case management (a service incorporating case management), overall care coordination, and data collection for the determination of program eligibility and cost range assignments.

Consumers and families are viewed as members of a team responsible for the consumer's care and are involved at every point in the service planning development and delivery. Several consumer options allow consumers to have flexibility in directing their care and selecting providers.

ODJFS monitors compliance with the requirements for the Ohio Home Care Program through a comprehensive quality assurance program. ODJFS monitoring activities include outcome-based consumer interviews, consumer satisfaction surveys, contractor and provider site visits, and review of consumer, contractor, and provider records.

Oilcom has Aviation Fueling Facilities at Dar es Salaam International Airport, Mwanza Airport & Kigoma Airport in Tanzania.
