Hey, I'm Jesse Dictor.

When I was very young, I wanted to be a comic book artist. I decided, however, that comic books could never yield me the success I could want. I decided to become a programmer, and ran into the issue that college courses couldn't teach me faster then I could learn. I finished an entire javascript's classes homework before the first day of class. I ended up being hired before graduating, and quickly entered working for doctors who needed me to handle every front of their digital presence. I was quickly planning photoshoots, designing websites, print material, and creating marketing plans. I even was fortunate enough to work with a Disney Imagineer!

I worked as a digital marketing director who very successfully, selling mostly compliance courses, cosmetic dentistry and plastic surgery. I kept finding one large issue- the companies never seemed scale-able. There are natural limitations to the amount of sales I could generate in these industries, and every landmark of success came with an even larger overhead concerning space and staff. On top of that, these fields are very defined, and lacked any type of artistic expression in my print and web design.

I have always liked fashion, as it had the artistic expression I always wanted to be able to market, but unlike most artistic endeavors, it was shown to be very profitable. I started following Free People, Guess, Dolls Kill, Gypsy Warrior, J.Crew, and more. I followed their marketing trends and habits until I felt comfortable enough to switch industries. I have started out working with very small companies but I want to be able to take these small companies and make them large companies.

I work best as someone who needs more then just a website set up quickly and cheaply, but doesn't quiet need the level of Agency work.

The goal of the event is to raise money and awareness and to create 'Jessepalooza' branded events throughout the country by other committee members and volunteers.

In 2011 Jessepalooza will expand in its origin city by adding a 5K run and a 100K metric century bike ride, a local ride and considered a destination ride for others.

Jeugdbescherming draagt bij aan de bescherming en blijvend veilige ontwikkeling van kwetsbare kinderen. Kinderen hebben recht op een goede opvoeding, zodat zij veilig kunnen opgroeien tot gezonde en evenwichtige volwassenen die volwaardig meedoen in de maatschappij. Jeugdbescherming is als gecertificeerde instelling (GI) specialist in de methodiek Intensief Systeemgericht Casemanagement. Jeugdformaat biedt jeugd- en opvoedhulp in de regio Haaglanden. We ondersteunen ouders en kinderen die het op eigen kracht (even) niet meer redden. Dat doen we bij voorkeur in de thuissituatie, maar ook via schoolmaatschappelijk werk. Daarnaast vangen we kinderen op in pleeggezinnen, gezinshuizen en in onze voorzieningen.

Bij alle hulp die we organiseren staat het kind, de jongere centraal. Hierbij stellen we ons voortdurend de vraag: wat zou je willen als het je eigen kind was? Met die visie als basis bieden onze betrokken medewerkers in de regio Haaglanden laagdrempelige en deskundige hulp aan ongeveer 7.000 gezinnen per jaar.

Stichting Jeugdhulp Friesland is een organisatie voor geindiceerde jeugdzorg in de provincie Friesland. Deze zorg omvat orthopedagogische behandeling en opvang aan kinderen (0-12 jaar), jeugdigen (12-18 jaar) en hun ouders/opvoeders bij vragen en problemen rond opgroeien en opvoeden. De vragen en problemen varieren in ernst en omvang. In het verlengde daarvan varieert ook het behandelaanbod: van lichte ambulante tot zeer intensieve en specialistische behandelvormen. Jeugdhulp Friesland biedt ook intensieve residentiele behandeleing voor kinderen en jeugdigen met complexe problematiek (GGZ-behandeling).

Bureau Jeugdzorg Noord-Brabant beschermt in hun ontwikkeling bedreigde kinderen van 0 tot 18 jaar en zorgt ervoor dat zij de juiste zorg krijgen.

Wanneer sprake is van ernstige en ingewikkelde opvoedings- of opgroeiproblemen komt Bureau Jeugdzorg in actie. De ontwikkeling van het kind en zijn veiligheid staan daarbij centraal. Als de bescherming en de veiligheid van het kind daarom vragen, grijpen wij in door drang uit te oefenen of gedwongen hulpverlening te bevorderen en uit te voeren.

Samenwerking

Wij nemen onze verantwoordelijkheid maar laten ouders en hun omgeving ook hun eigen verantwoordelijkheid nemen. Wij werken nauw samen met het kind en zijn ouders en dragen bij aan de versterking van hun sociaal netwerk en de inzet van de juiste zorg. Die zorg kan zowel voor het kind als voor de ouders zijn. Vanuit het belang van het kind kijken wij naar het hele gezin. Dit kunnen wij niet alleen, maar doen we in goede samenwerking met andere instellingen.

Bureau Jeugdzorg is een tweedelijnsinstelling. Ouders en kinderen gaan in eerste instantie met hun probleem naar een Centrum voor Jeugd en Gezin of het (school)maatschappelijk werk. Als de hulp van deze instellingen voldoende is, komen wij niet in beeld.

Jeugdzorg Nederland verenigt alle organisaties die verantwoordelijk zijn voor jeugdhulp en de uitvoering van kinderbeschermingsmaatregelen en jeugdreclassering en die vallen onder de Jeugdwet. Jewish Family & Children's Service (JFCS) is a non-sectarian, non-profit agency that offers a range of innovative and specialized behavioral health, medical and social services for children, adults and families without regard to race, gender, age, disability, ethnicity, religion or economic status.

Our services include family and individual therapy, child crisis intervention, substance abuse counseling and prevention, older adult services, support for victims of domestic violence, job skills and GED training for teens in foster care.
