We utilize radio waves to separate the elements of the water molecule by adding energy to the vibration. Utilizing radio waves and water is the most efficient way of separating the water molecule. This converts H2O into the gases H2 and O2. Both gasses are then stored separately. When you need additional energy, you either recombine both gasses and get power or burn the hydrogen through a generator and get electricity. Our separation process is more efficient than existing technologies for creating hydrogen. The efficiency of our process is around 89% when high rate electrolysis is around 60%. The advantage of our process is that we also have oxygen as a separate revenue stream. We also utilize common materials in our process so the capital cost is significantly less that electrolysis.

New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity, an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. Volunteer-based organization building affordable homes. Homes are purchased by pre-qualified families who are legal residents of USA, have good credit, work, and unable to otherwise purchase homes. Families and volunteers work together to construct the homes. HabitatOC has built 205 homes in Orange County and could build many more with funding. Founded in 1984, Habitat for Humanity of Omaha is a grassroots organization that builds and renovates houses, forges community partnerships and breaks down barriers. Habitat Omaha partners with families that need safe and affordable places to raise their children. We eliminate vacant lots and abandoned homes in the blighted areas of North and South Omaha while improving the overall appearance of our community. We mobilize thousands of donors and volunteers every year in this mission, building a stronger, more socially conscious community.

Soon-to-be Habitat Omaha homeowners have incomes that are 30 to 50 percent of median in the Omaha area. Before purchasing their home, families contribute sweat equity hours on the construction site and in homeownership workshops--single applicant families must complete 250 hours, double applicant families must complete 350 hours. They then purchase their homes through 25 or 30-year affordable mortgages. Through Habitat Omaha, more than 350 families have realized the dream of homeownership and are ending the cycle of poverty for their children.

We seek to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from Osceola County and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.

To accomplish these goals, we invite people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need.

Each affiliate is an independently run, nonprofit organization.Each affiliate coordinates all aspects of Habitat home building in its local area—fund raising; building site selection; partner family selection and support; house construction; and mortgage servicing.

Mission Statement:

"Habitat Services strives to improve the quality of housing for tenants marginalized by poverty and their mental health status by contracting with landlords and providing recovery based support".

History:

In the 1980s, advocates, mental health workers and housing providers voiced serious concerns about consumer/survivors of the mental health system being housed in boarding homes with very poor living conditions. Habitat Services was established in 1987 to help address these concerns and improve the quality of life for tenants. The City of Toronto, the Ministries of Community and Social Services, Health, Housing, the Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto and the Supportive Housing Coalition discussed strategies. They developed the concept of using a contract to standardize services and improve housing standards in boarding homes. The details were worked out in consultation with consumer/survivors, advocates, representatives of the provincial and municipal governments, mental health workers and boarding home owners/operators. The result was the Habitat Services contract model.

Funding:

Habitat Services is funded by the Toronto-Central Local Health Integration Network. The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and the City of Toronto jointly fund the subsidy program.

Habitat Services Model:

The Habitat model is unique in Ontario. It is based on a contract between Habitat Services, a non-profit agency, and the owners of private sector and non-profit boarding homes. Regular monitoring of the houses ensures compliance with the contract and its attached standards. On-site housing support services for tenants are provided by staff of either Habitat Services or Cota. Habitat Services funds and monitors 45 boarding homes and 15 apartment units at sites across the City of Toronto. Habitat funded homes and apartments provide permanent housing for 931 adults.

Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County is a community-based, volunteer driven low-income housing developer. Through its unique model of no-interest, no-profit loans and self-help homeownership, Habitat generates homeownership opportunities, or opportunities for home repair, for low income households. Through its unique model of low-interest, no-profit loans and self-help homeownership, Habitat generates homeownership opportunities and opportunities for critical home repairs for low income households in King County.

Habitat SKC is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing through constructing, renovating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat's ultimate goal is to transform lives and communities not just through housing itself, but by actively engaging the community to help improve neighborhoods themselves. Habitat has partnered with hundreds of organizations in 17 different cities within King County, building, renovating or repairing more than 450 homes for families in need of affordable housing and transforming local communities in the process.

Habitat SKC also operates two retail Habitat Stores, selling new and gently used building materials, appliances and furniture. Proceeds from the Habitat Stores help Habitat SKC provide more housing solutions for families in need of a hand up.
