The Chair of Child Health, deemed to be the origin of Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine, was founded as part of Ankara University, Faculty of Medicine on February 2, 1954.

Holland Animation Film Festival (HAFF) in the old centre of Utrecht, is an international festival for animated film, founded in 1985 and since 2009 an annual event. The festival provides a national and international platform for animation. It is a national and international meeting place and source of inspiration for animation professionals and rising talent and it promotes animated film as an attractive cultural leisure pursuit to all possible target groups. HAFF screens the newest developments, organizes competitions and presents thematic programmes and retrospectives, talkshows, masterclasses, debates and an educational programme. There are international competitions for features, shorts, commissioned films and web films. Dutch films can also compete for the audience award for best Dutch animation and there is a competition for international student films.

The organization of the festival is in the hands of a compact staff that is filled up with freelancers, interns and a lot of volunteers in the build-up to the festival. Climbing Workers' Hill will bring to light the life of DuPont workers though their homes, school, and gardens. And a ride through the ruins of the original black powder mills will lead to a guided tour of the original du Pont family home.

We are the only Smithsonian Affiliate museum in Delaware and have been accredited by the American Alliance of Museums since 1972. The site is a National Historic Landmark, a National Recreation Trail, and a Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark. Hagley is also a Let's Move! museum.

The Hagley Library is the world's premier research library for the history of American enterprise and is a member of the Independent Research Libraries Association. In addition to holding the du Pont family and DuPont Company papers, it also holds the archives of more than 1,000 businesses.
