In a world of increasing interdependence between net exporters of energy and net importers, it is widely recognised that multilateral rules can provide a more balanced and efficient framework for international cooperation than is offered by bilateral agreements alone or by non-legislative instruments. The Energy Charter Treaty therefore plays an important role as part of an international effort to build a legal foundation for energy security, based on the principles of open, competitive markets and sustainable development.

The Energy Charter Treaty and the Energy Charter Protocol on Energy Efficiency and Related Environmental Aspects were signed in December 1994 and entered into legal force in April 1998. To date, the Treaty has been signed or acceded to by fifty-one states, the European Community and Euratom (the total number of its members is therefore fifty-three).

Locates conductive utilities with Radio Detection (RD) and marks existing utilities with corresponding Blue Stake paint colors. Video Inspection

Endless River Adventures is a true 'built from the ground up' company. Ken and Juliet began the company in 1992, running the operation out of their own house. In 1993 construction began on the outpost--the plans drawn up by Ken on a pad of graph paper, in between Costa Rica trips.

We have continued to build Endless River Adventures one step at a time--never losing sight of our commitment to remain small so that we could develop a family. Guests have become staff, children we taught to kayak join us a river guides. And friends that watched us build in 1993 are still part of our family today.

Ken has been fishing since a young boy and found whitewater canoeing as a boy scout in Wisconsin. You can find a photo of him canoeing in old Boy Scout Handbooks if you look hard enough! He earned his Eagle Scout and that ambition followed through to his professional career. His accomplishments include coming up with the C-to-C Roll, and guiding on the rivers of Costa Rica, Ecuador, Chile, Panama, Mexico, Argentina, the Grand Canyon and many other rivers of the USA. Ken designed the Endless River Adventures Outpost, building it with the same care he has taken to build the team of whitewater professionals that have worked and continue to work with him.
