PARTNERING WITH YOUTH TO END DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Day One is the only organization in New York solely devoted to the issue of teen dating violence. Working alongside youth, Day One educates, organizes, and advocates on behalf of young people at risk of or experiencing intimate partner violence.

Day One focuses on young people because one in three teens experiences abuse in a dating relationship according to the United States Department of Justice. The most recent New York City Teen Health Risk Survey found that one in ten teenagers had experienced physical or sexual assault in a dating relationship within the previous year.

In each of our programs, Day One looks forward to new beginnings for youth. We engage young people in identifying methods of keeping themselves and their peers safe, and together envision a future without fear of abuse. Community involvement is critical to our ability to help young people.

Dansk BiblioteksCenter - DBC - is a public company, owned by Local Government Denmark and the Danish State.

Our main task is to develop and maintain the bibliographic and IT infrastructure in the Danish libraries.

Our IT development is based on open source and service oriented architecture, following the recommendations of The National IT and Telecom Agency for public institutions.

DBC participates in development communities with Danish and international libraries and other partners in order to develop our competencies. DBC's main partner is TING Concept Community.

DBC Re-integratie BV

DBC is een internationaal behandelmethodiek. Middels geprotocolleerd behandelapparatuur en een tijdcontingent behandelprotocol worden er functionele oefeningen uitgevoerd die het lichaam versterken. Daarnaast leren wij cliënten omgaan met mogelijke resterende klachten en beperkingen, waarbij functieherstel voorop staat. Afhankelijk van de problematiek kan er een intake met een fysiotherapeut en/ of een psycholoog van DBC plaatsvinden. DBC wordt particulier gefinancierd en wordt door HR-professionals/ leidinggevenden of door letselschadepartijen ingeschakeld. DBC Revalidatie BV

DBC Revalidatie BV is een expertisecentrum van Ciran Revalidatie. De poliklinische revalidatiebehandeling Ciran wordt aangeboden voor patiënten met langdurige klachten (langer dan 3 maanden) die ondanks de optimale zorg van huisarts, fysiotherapeut of psycholoog geen verbetering zien. Ciran is een afkorting voor Centra voor Integrale Revalidatie en Arbeidsactivering Nederland. Het 18 weeks durende traject is gericht op het verbeteren van de mobiliteit van geest, zodat mensen weer kunnen functioneren, thuis en op het werk. Ciran benadert gezondheid als lichamelijk, geestelijk en maatschappelijk evenwicht. Ciran wordt vergoed vanuit de basiszorgverzekering, een verwijsbrief van een huisarts, bedrijfsarts of een medisch specialist is dan wel noodzakelijk. Meer informatie vindt u op www.ciran.nl.
