CIFASIS, Centro Internacional Franco Argentino de Ciencias de la Información y de Sistemas, es un instituto de investigaciones del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología de la Argentina (CONICET) localizado en el Centro Científico y Tecnológico Rosario (CCT- Rosario), creado en Marzo de 2007 como resultado de un acuerdo entre la Universidad Paul Cézanne Aix-Marseille III, la Universidad Nacional de Rosario y el CONICET para llevar adelante en colaboración, investigaciones en los campos de las Ciencias de la Información y de los Sistemas. The History of The Center for Independent Living of North Central Florida (CILNCF) involves over 30 years of service by people with disabilities, for people with disabilities. The CILNCF is a locally controlled, consumer driven, community based, non-residential, 501(C)3 private not-for-profit organization headquartered in Gainesville, Florida. The Mission of our organization is to empower people with disabilities to exert our individual rights to live as independently as possible, make personal life choices and achieve full community inclusion. We provide all of our services at no cost, serving 16 counties in the North Central Florida region from two locations.

The CILNCF provides services to individuals on a cross-disability basis and is consumer-controlled, having at least 51% people with disabilities, comprising both the governing board of directors as well as staff. Our center delivers the four-core services of the Independent Living Program which include Advocacy, Information & Referral, Peer Support, and Independent Living Skills Education. The CILNCF has several other programs complimenting the IL Program provided through important partnerships with organizations like: Florida Department of Education, the Department of Health, Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Program, the Alachua, Bradford, Levy, Marion and Putnam County School Boards, Able Trust Foundation and others.
