1 augustus a.s. de krachten en gaan samen in een nieuw bedrijfspand te Barneveld. Directeur Henk van Ee is ervan overtuigd de juiste keuze op het juiste moment te hebben gemaakt. Van Ee: "De bedrijven Van Ee en Metaluniek zijn gespecialiseerd in bouwkundige staalconstructies, trappen en balustrades, bruggen en maatwerk in staal. Met name de complexere opdrachten zijn ons op het lijf geschreven. De bedrijfsactiviteiten zijn nagenoeg identiek, dus het lag al lang voor de hand om de krachten op één plek te bundelen. Door de samenvoeging van beide bedrijven, bundelen wij ervaring, expertise en vakmanschap. Hiermee zetten wij een

constructieve stap in onze organisatie."

Een bedrijfshal met lengte niet door krapte, maar juist door de luxe van een gezonde orderportefeuille, verwacht Henk van Ee de organisatie op meerdere fronten naar een hoger plan met meer efficiency te brengen. Henk van Ee: "Door nieuw te bouwen en de bedrijven te bundelen kunnen we daarin een grote slag slaan. Voor onze werkzaamheden hebben we nu een hal met 180 meter lengte, zodat we ons productieproces naadloos door de hal kunnen loodsen."

Ruimte voor nieuwe inzichten

De 25 medewerkers uit Barneveld en de 20 collega's uit Veenendaal gaan allen werken onder de vlag van Van Ee Staalspecialisten. "We worden dus één bedrijf en gaan met hetzelfde aantal mensen meer doen", zo is de verwachting van Henk van Ee. "Daarbij krijgen nieuwe methodieken alle ruimte. BIM en LEAN: op onze nieuwe locatie zijn die woorden daden. Met BIM waren we al heel ver, daarmee hebben we een uitstekende reputatie opgebouwd als co-maker voor architecten en aannemers.
