Sport Event Fyn er det fælles fynske samarbejde, hvor otte fynske kommuner står sammen om at tiltrække, udvikle og aktivere store internationale sportevents.

Sport Event Fyns historie går helt tilbage til 1999, og enheden var frem til 1. januar 2012 en selvejende, non-profit organisation, hvorefter sekretariatet blev en del af Udvikling Fyn.

I dag samarbejder Sport Event Fyn med de øvrige forretningsområder i Udvikling Fyn bl.a. om erhvervsaktivering i forbindelse med nogle af de events, som tiltrækkes til øen.

Fra 2015 har Sport Event Fyn et skærpet fokus i forbindelse med udvælgelse af events til den fynske portefølje. Der er således primært tale om events der understøtter de fynske styrkepositioner på sporteventområdet enten, fordi Fyn har nogle helt særlige erfaringer eller nogle helt særlige forudsætninger rent geografisk.

Fokus vil de kommende år være på individuel sport med fysiske udfordringer, som f.eks. cykling, triatlon og sejlsport samt sportsgrene, hvor Fyn har en særlig erfaring eller et helt særligt miljø/økosystem omkring sporten, herunder hestesport og gymnastik.

Højt profilerede events finder naturligvis også vej til det fynske - især hvis de kan være trædesten til større events eller kan blive årligt tilbagevendende som f.eks. Yonex Denmark Open i badminton, der har været afviklet i den fynske hovedstad siden 2007.

In 2016, we took delivery of two of the most technically advanced PCTCs ever built. They are the largest ecologically sustainable PCTCs as well as the biggest ever 1A super Finnish/Swedish ice classed PCTCs in the world.

The vessels are capable of operating with LNG fuel or heavy fuel oil as well as marine gas oil, providing greater flexibility and efficiency. They are fitted with an LNG fuel propulsion system and can complete a fourteen-day round voyage in the Baltics using solely LNG fuel, including main engine and auxiliary power generation.

These vessels provide larger capacity, better operational flexibility, reduced fuel consumption and emissions, more efficient operations, and are enhancing the service to our customers.

United Energy Pakistan (UEP) assumed control of oil and gas exploration and production assets managed by BP Pakistan in September, 2011. The Company focuses primarily on exploration and production taking care of the whole process, from the first assessment of the site to the first production of oil and gas. All our operations are based in province Sindh, with the concession boundary starting 100 km to the east of Karachi.

In 1956, instructed by Premier Zhou Enlai, UESTC was founded on the basis of the incorporation of electronic divisions of the then three universities including Jiaotong Universities, Nanjing Institute of Technology and South China Institute of Technology. As one of the seven earliest key universities in national defense, UESTC became one of the nation's key universities in 1960. Then, in 1997 it was included as one of the first universities into 'Project 211', a project in China for developing 100 first-class universities and a number of key fields of research for the 21st century. In 2001, UESTC was admitted into the nation's Project 985, receiving special support for developing world-class universities and world-famous research-oriented universities.

A UFAC teve inicio com a Faculdade de Direito, em março de 1964 (Decreto Estadual nº 187). Em 1968, foi criada a Faculdade de Ciências Econômicas e, pouco depois, os cursos de Letras, Pedagogia, Matemática e Estudos Sociais, sendo oficializado em março de 1970, o Centro Universitário do Acre.

Este Centro transformou-se em Universidade do Acre no dia 22 de janeiro de 1971. A federalização da Universidade do Acre foi concretizada no dia 05 de abril de 1974 (Lei n 6.025).

Hoje a UFAC conta com mais de 30 cursos regulares, distribuídos em Rio Branco e Cruzeiro do Sul.

U-landshjälp från Folk till Folk i Finland rf (UFF) is a non-profit, non-governmental humanitarian organization, founded in 1987. The aim of UFF is to provide equal opportunities to all, reduce poverty and impacts of climate change in Africa and India.

UFF collects funds for development cooperation by selling second hand clothes, which are sold either through wholesale or in the shops owned by the association.

UFF Finland runs 16 second hand shops in the largest cities in Finland: 10 in Helsinki, two in Tampere, one in Turku, Jyväskylä, Espoo and Vantaa.

In 2016, UFF Finland supported approximately 30 development projects in Mozambique, Angola, Malawi, Zambia, Congo DR, Namibia and India. The funds are collected by selling recycled clothes, through private donations and public grants.
