Founded in 1961, SUPERLIT Pipe Industries Company produces glass fibre reinforced polyester (GRP) pipes and fittings within the range of DN 300 – DN 4000 mm diameter, PN 1 – PN 40 bar pressure and SN 5000 – SN 20000 stiffness classes. O Supermercado Nicolini começou em 1979 com Osmar Nicolini, a esposa e os filhos, que deixaram sua cidade natal, Garibaldi, e foram para Bagé com a proposta simples de vender frangos do frigorífico dos irmãos de Osmar.

Em seguida, em junho de 1980, Ivo Manfroi, genro de Osmar, funda outra empresa do mesmo ramo na rua General Neto, a Ivo Manfroi e Cia Ltda., sob o mesmo nome fantasia. Passam a trabalhar juntos e fazer a distribuição dos produtos em Bagé e região.
