Het S.G.O.R. is een juridische vereniging verbonden aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Reeds in 1986 zag deze studievereniging het levenslicht. Een van de prominente oprichters is Jaap Winter, geestelijk vader van de Code Tabaksblat. Het S.G.O.R. is destijds opgericht voor een selecte groep studenten met interesse voor het bedrijfsrecht. Door de jaren heen heeft het S.G.O.R. zich kunnen uitbreiden waardoor zowel het aantal leden als de jaarlijks te organiseren activiteiten flink gegroeid zijn.
