We support hundreds of families every year through outstanding adoption services, therapeutic support and community projects across London and the Thames Valley.

We recruit, prepare and approve adoptive parents for some of the 3000 children in care who need adopting.

When a child is adopted, they have usually experienced abuse or neglect. Traumatic experiences can cause them to have emotional and behavioural problems, sometimes many years later, which may affect their ability to accept their adoptive parents and their new life. The worse thing would be for the adoption to fail so PACT invests a lot of time and care into supporting these families through difficult times and working with the child for as long as it takes to help them come to terms with a painful past.

PACT has a wealth of therapeutic services to offer – creative play, art therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, life story work and many more. These can be provided at home or in PACT's family therapy room which was opened in April 2013.

Our other community projects include Alana House - a community project for women whose lifestyles put them at risk of offending - and Bounce Back 4 Kids - support for children who have witnessed or been victims of domestic abuse.

The City Campus of PAF-KIET was established in April 2002 to provide evening programs for the working students. The City Campus is located off Shahrah-e-Faisal near Nursery.

The departments of Management Science and Computer Science were elevated to the status of Colleges. College of Computing & Information Sciences and College of Management Sciences started offering advanced research oriented degree programs of MS and PhD. Specialization in MIS, Finance and Accounting were added.

Department of Corporate Relations and R&D Departments were launched.

Two more academic colleges were established namely College of Engineering and College of Humanities and Sciences. College of Engineering offers 4-year BE in Electronics with specialization in Electronics and Telecommunication. Agritech limited (formerly Pak American Fertilizer limited) is a urea manufacturing company. It is located in Punjab province of Pakistan in district Mianwali. Plant is located very close to mighty river Indus near the famous site of proposed KALABAGH dam. The area is very scenic.

It was the first fertilizers plant build by GOP through PIDC way back in 1955/56. The plant was Ammonia/Ammonium sulfate based on the local coal and gypsum. Later on it was transferred to NFC. In 1972 on availability of natural gas in area the coal gasification process was abandoned.

NFC planned its expansion and a new state of the art Ammonia/Urea complex was erected in 1999 based on Toyo Japan technology. Plant name pate capacities were 600/1050 MTPD Ammonia/Urea. under the disinvestment policy it was privatized and purchased by a leading textile group of Pakistan Azgard9 in July 2006. Company planned expansion to 1400 MTPD urea which was carried out by Jan 2011. The Urea plant process was changed from Toyo to Stamicarbon.

We are currently Undergrads doing the final year in the Temple City, Tamil Nadu. "Amigos" is what people call our gang or at least what we think the gang name is.

We like each other's company and we were wondering a way to keep in touch after the end of our college life. We wanted to do something fun, something that is useful, that keeps us together and the bottom line is we wanted to do something and thus emerged "Pages".

Pages is a magazine that could be a different venture altogether. Apart from the clichéd reviews, statistics, politics, the unwanted hype that surrounds Cricketers life and Bollywood, the newly adopted baby by Brangelina, the thing that Pages is looking for is something new, simple and most importantly fun.

The birth of the Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF), more popularly known as the Pag-IBIG Fund, was an answer to the need for a national savings program and an affordable shelter financing for the Filipino worker. The Fund was established on 11 June 1978 by virtue of Presidential Decree No. 1530 primarily to address these two basic yet equally important needs. Under the said law, there were two agencies that administered the Fund. The Social Security System handled the funds of private employees, while the Government Service Insurance System handled the savings of government workers.

Less than a year after on 1 March 1979, Executive Order No. 527 was signed. The order directed transferring the administration of the Fund to the National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation, which was one of the operating agencies of the then Ministry of Human Settlements.

Seeing the need to further strengthen the stability and viability of the two funds, Executive Order No. 538 was issued on 4 June 1979, merging the funds for private and government personnel into what is now known as the Pag-IBIG Fund. However, It was only on 14 December 1980 when Pag-IBIG was made independent from the NHMFC with the signing of PD 1752, which amended PD 1530. With the improved law in effect, the Fund's rule-making power was vested in its own Board of Trustees. Likewise, PD 1752 made Pag-IBIG membership mandatory for all SSS and GSIS member-employees.

La Bodega Pago Casa del Blanco esta ubicada en el termino municipal de Manzanares (Ciudad Real), es una bodega familiar.

La última aportación de la familia a la historia de la finca ha sido la creación de la Denominación de Origen Protegida: "Pago Casa del Blanco", reconocido como tal, por la singularidad de sus suelos que reflejan fielmente la expresión del terruño. El suelo y el microclima crean un vino de características propias y únicas: un vino de Pago denominado QUIXOTE y PILAS BONAS.

En la actualidad la finca cuentan con 12 variedades, 4 variedades blancas y 8 variedades tintas. Entre las blancas cultivan Airén (en vaso y de secano), Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay y Moscatel de Grano Menudo (en espaldera y riego por goteo).

En cuanto a las tintas, cultivan 11 hectáreas de Tempranillo de más de 40 años con rendimientos de 2500KG/Ha; Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc y Garnacha.

En 1987 José María Ruiz encabeza el proyecto con una clara ilusión; elaborar un vino de máxima calidad. Las laderas de Carraovejas, en Peñafiel, cuna histórica de la Ribera del Duero constituían el enclave ideal.

1991 Alumbró la primera cosecha, que serviría como testigo del incansable esfuerzo que cada año se realiza por alcanzar cotas de excelencia en todos y cada uno de los procesos de elaboración. La propia selección clonal de sus racimos y la distinción de los microecosistemas presentes en sus fermentaciones, con levaduras y bacterias lácticas únicas del Pago de Carraovejas, hacen de éstos unos vinos de singular sensibilidad.

Actualmente, la bodega cuenta con unas modernas instalaciones, armonizando las formas tradicionales de elaboración junto con las más avanzadas tecnologías, siempre con un profundo respeto por los procesos naturales.

Desde el año 2007, Pedro Ruiz –hijo de José María— dirige la bodega, manteniendo y promoviendo los valores en el ámbito de la empresa familiar. Siendo partícipe y continuador de esa misma ilusión que ha permitido que Pago de Carraovejas sea una realidad.

Dentro de las amplias y modernas instalaciones de la bodega, disponemos de espacios dedicados al ocio y el servicio de visitas con salas de cata y, por supuesto, también para grandes celebraciones.
