The Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU) is a large-scale clinical and public health research unit with campuses in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in Viet Nam; Kathmandu in Nepal; and Jakarta in Indonesia. We are hosted by the Hospital of Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City, and the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Hanoi. As a Wellcome Trust Major Overseas Programme, we have received considerable support from the Trust, including core funding, since our establishment in 1991.

Our work puts clinical and public health research at the centre with an integrated clinical science programme encompassing patient-orientated clinical research, and aspects of immunology, host and pathogen genetics, molecular biology, virology and epidemiology.

De Gemeente Oude IJsselstreek is een gemeente van ca. 40.000 inwoners, gelegen in de Achterhoek.

De gemeente is op 1 januari 2005 ontstaan door een gemeentelijke herindeling. Daarbij zijn de voormalige gemeente Gendringen en gemeente Wisch samengevoegd.

Oudenburg behoort tot de oudste bewoonde sites in Vlaanderen. Hier bouwden de Romeinen vanaf het begin van de derde eeuw versterkingen tegen invallende ‘barbaren'. Bijna drie eeuwen verbleven ze er aan de rand van wat toen een slikken- en schorrengebied was. Het spel van land en water heeft voortdurend een rol gespeeld in de geschiedenis van de stad.

Nu behoort Oudenburg met z'n 3.550 ha en bijna tienduizend inwoners tot de meest interessantste gemeenten op de grens van polder en zandstreek. Oundle School is situated in the quintessentially English market town of Oundle, about 90 miles north of London. The School's buildings, dating from the 17th, are dispersed throughout the town, which is, to a large extent, its campus.

The School's history dates back to 1556, when Sir William Laxton, Master of the Worshipful Company of Grocers and Lord Mayor of London, endowed and re-founded the original Oundle Grammar School, of which he was a former pupil. In 1876, the Grocer's Company divided the School into two parts; Laxton Grammar School, primarily for the inhabitants of the town, and Oundle School, primarily for pupils from further afield. In 2000, the Grocers' Company reunited the two schools under the common name of Oundle School and retained the name of Laxton for the day House.

At the beginning of the 20th century, Oundle was put firmly on the map of leading English public schools by its most famous headmaster, F W Sanderson, who established Oundle's reputation as one of the great science and engineering schools, a reputation still renowned today. St. Boniface is a relatively new school. It was established in 1966 by Fr. Lamantia. The building was originally designed as a religious education center in 1964 but with some minor adaptations, it has functioned as an elementary ever since.

Approximately 5 years ago, the school fell into some difficult financial problems. The parish and numerous others rose up with fervor and aided the school both financially and otherwise to ensure that no matter how small, the school will always survive. St. Boniface has become known throughout the state as the "little school that could" and is an example of how Catholic education can adapt to the times.

Since that crisis, we have revisited how the school is run. We are now a multi-age classroom environment. These challenges have made us better and we believe that we offer one of the best elementary schools in the area. Let us know if you would like to come and visit.
