Operation Dagsværk er eleverne på de danske ungdomsuddannelsers egen oplysnings- og solidaritetsorganisation. Unge frivillige udvikler og gennemfører årligt en oplysningskampagne målrettet eleverne på de danske ungdomsuddannelser. Kampagnen relaterer sig til og er til fordel for et internationalt udviklingsprojekt, der udføres af en dansk udviklingsorganisation. Et udviklingsprojekt der suverænt vælges af eleverne selv.

Operation Dagsværk er en græsrodsorganisation, som består af grupper af aktive elever på de danske ungdomsuddannelser. Vi kalder ganske enkelt disse grupper for 'Dagsværk-grupper'. Dagsværk-grupperne er kernen i Operation Dagsværk. Grupperne er selvbestemmende og laver forskellige former for kampagnearbejde til fordel for det valgte projekt ude på de enkelte skoler.

Vores oplysningskampagne munder ud i Dagsværkdagen, hvor flere tusind elever på de danske ungdomsuddannelser frivilligt giver et dagsværk til fordel for årets udviklingsprojekt. Mange forbinder udelukkende Operation Dagsværk med denne dag, men Dagsværkdagen er blot kulminationen på vores landsdækkende kampagne. Operation Dagsværk arbejder året rundt.

Der bliver samlet ind til det valgte projekt på den årlige Dagsværkdag. Efterfølgende gennemføres projektet over en årrække af den udviklingsorganisation, der står for projektet. Dette sker i samarbejde med lokale partnerorganisationer. Operation Dagsværk monitorerer løbende implementeringen af projektet og dets resultater og fortæller de danske elever, hvordan det går med det projekt, som de har arbejdet for.

The terminal specializes on the reception, storage, handling and dispatch of liquids bulks. It has 26 carbon steel tanks with a total storage capacity of 34.200 m3, including both the multipurpose and the Sulphuric Acid terminal, as well as the MDI tank. Each tank has an individual pump connected to the truck-loading station through its respective jetty line.

The terminal is interconnected to the berth with piggable stainless steel jetty lines with a length of 800 meters, allowing for discharge or loading of 3 different products simultaneously.

Mejillones Terminal

The terminal is located in Mejillones port, 60 km North of Antofagasta, a privileged location with truck roads and railway access connecting it to the country's mining industry and to the international routs to Argentina and Bolivia.

Description: 7 Multipurpose Carbon Steel tanks ranging from 2.000 m3 to 3.000 m3 (650 API design).

Products: mining solvents, caustic soda, asphalt, fuel, among others.

Mission

ODIN Maskinfabrik A/S designs and manufactures special-purpose machines and does work as a subcontractor. We also carry out a range of repair and installation assignments.

Facilities

ODIN Maskinfabrik A/S has 2740 m² of production premises. This includes a heated paint shop with an area of about 100 m². Machines are put together and tested in our assembly department.

Design department

ODIN Maskinfabrik A/S has its own design department, where all sorts of special-purpose machines are developed in accordance with customer requirements. The department also drafts all the necessary documentation and approvals. State-of-the-art software is used for the design process.

Production department

All our solutions are produced in house. We have all the production plant needed to manufacture and assemble machines and components. We also have service engineers to maintain plant once it has been delivered.

Electrical department

In order to ensure high quality at every stage of the manufacturing process, ODIN Maskinfabrik A/S has its own electrical department, which develops and dimensions switchboards for our own machines. It programs all sorts of control systems and drafts documentation in accordance with the statutory directives.

This means that ODIN Maskinfabrik A/S is able to supply complete plant with the control system as an integral part. Even complex pant with graphical user interfaces and data collection is familiar territory at ODIN Maskinfabrik A/S.
