Picture this;

A group of musicians connects through wild music ideas and the existence of the Tascam Portastudio 424. The year is 1985. The band Now is being created by Eric Forsmark, Peter Danielsson and Ulf Kjell Gür. With lots of help and inspiration from close friends. Later, some serious recordings are being done at Dan Katz studio Gangaloo in Stockholm, Sweden. Two tracks are featured on the compilation album Nordic sounds (Joker records 1988).

Spring 2007. Eric, Peter and Ulf meet to make music. Riff raff room is the result. And there's plenty more to come. Music and words are streaming back and forth between the home studios of Eric (Giovinazzo, Italy) and Peter (Nockeby, Sweden). New songs are produced. Old ones, like Film Noir and The best of the bible, are being recreated and remixed. Many friends and allies help out.

Summer 2009. A Now meeting in Giovinazzo, Italy. A video, "Everyone I know"… is made by Lorenzo Scaraggi at the AFP, Acciaierie e Ferriere Pugliesi,.

Fall 2009. Now becomes Now lab. A lab recreation of the late Screamin' Jay Hawkins classic, I put a spell on you, is produced.

Spring 2010. The Nowlab album is released. The rest is future.

Introduction to the National Prosecuting Authority

Section 179 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996 (Act No. 108 of 1996), created a single National Prosecution Authority (NPA).

The Office of the National Director of Public Prosecutions was established on 1 August 1998, in terms of section 179 (1) of the Constitution. The NPA comprises the National Director, who is the head of the Office and manages the Office; Directors of Public Prosecutions; Investigating Directors and Special Directors; other members of the prosecuting authority appointed at or assigned to the Office; and members of the administrative staff at the Office.

Legislation governing the prosecuting authority is the National Prosecuting Authority Act, 1998 (Act No. 32 of 1998). Founding of the National Palace Museum

The collection of cultural artifacts held by the National Palace Museum is composed of an enormous treasure trove of objects inherited from the previous Sung, Yüan, Ming and Ch'ing dynasties. When the Republic of China was first founded, these imperial treasures had remained within the Forbidden City with the last Ch'ing Emperor Pu Yi, but countless works of art were lost either because they were granted by Pu Yi as presents, because they were borrowed by his past noblemen, or because they were pledged to pawnbrokers or stolen.

In 1914 the Republic of China Government relocated the cultural artifacts preserved at the Rehe Imperial Summer Retreat and the Shenyang Former Palace to the outer court of the Forbidden City, and made them available for public viewing at an Exhibition Office of Ancient Artifacts. In 1924 Pu Yi moved out of the Forbidden City, and the Government formed a 'Committee for the Disposition of Ch'ing Imperial Possessions' to reorganize the invaluable artifacts stored within the Palace. On October 10, 1925 on National Day, the National Palace Museum was officially inaugurated to preserve the imperial collections and palatial treasures from the various Chinese dynasties, so that all members of the public and future generations will henceforth be able to freely enter the Palace to admire this cultural inheritance of humankind.

During the first years of the National Palace Museum, a board of directors was set up as the decision-making and supervisory organ, which supervised over a subordinate board of executive directors, the two separate departments of Antiquities and Books, as well as the General Affairs Office. Over the years dramatic political changes ensued, and the National Palace Museum was in turn governed by the Maintenance Officer, Preservation Committee, Maintenance Committee and a Management Committee.

Northern Pines is a comprehensive community mental health center that was established in 1964, with a six county service area in Central Minnesota that includes Aitkin, Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd, and Wadena counties. We have offices in Brainerd, Little Falls, Long Prairie, Staples, and Wadena.

We provide a full range of mental health services to all ages, including mobile crisis outreach services, Adult Community Based Services, Assertive Community Treatment services for adults and youth, Children and Family services, school based services, mental health and wellness education and promotion, medication management, outpatient therapy, psychiatry, peer specialist services, chemical health services, some housing assistance, a drop-in center located in Brainerd and more.

As an essential community provider, Northern Pines provides reduced or no-fee services, based on its sliding fee scale. A Minnesota nonprofit corporation, Northern Pines is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, representing the communities it serves.
