The National Indian Justice Center, Inc., (NIJC) is an Indian owned and operated non-profit corporation with principal offices in Santa Rosa, California. NIJC was established in 1983 through the collective efforts of the National American Indian Court Judges Association, the American Indian Lawyer Training Program, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs in order to establish an independent national resource for Native communities and tribal government. Niketan supports a small-scale, local initiative in the Bangladesh countryside to inform the parents of handicapped children and to motivate them to have their child treated. Niketan finances three day-care centres and training and professionalisation of its staff members. In the Netherlands, Niketan collects information about cerebral palsy and mental handicaps and prepares the information for use under local circumstances in Bangladesh. Lack of information - together with lack of funds - are the prime reasons that aid to children with these handicaps is hardly developed.

The Northeast Independent Living Program, Inc. (NILP), is located in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and is a consumer controlled Independent Living Center providing Programs and Services to all people with disabilities in the Greater Merrimack Valley Region who wish to live independently in the community. تا سال1380 فعاليت نيلپر بيشتر به صورت سنتي انجام مي‌شد و مديريت مجموعه عمدتاً با خود سهامداران نيلپر بود. بالا بودن ظرفيت توليد و مسائل پيش آمده در آن زمان، اين امر را مبرهن ساخت که به منظور حفظ و ارتقاي جايگاه نيلپر، نياز به مديريت علمي و مدرن در مجموعه ضروري است. با توجه به رويکرد هميشگي نيلپر که ارتقاي سطح کيفي و کمي محصولات و نظام فعاليت هاي خود بود، جستجوهاي فراواني جهت يافتن مشاوري کارآمد انجام شد و سرانجام شرکت مديران 21 که سابقه اي برجسته در زمينه مديريت علمي داشتند، انتخاب و وارد کادر مديريتي مجموعه شدند.

به منظور توسعه فعاليت ها و حرکت به سمت توليد صنعتي، سازماندهي جديدي در نيلپر صورت گرفت. اين سازماندهي، تحقق ديدگاه توسعه‌اي كه مد نظر مجموعه بود را امکان‌پذير مي‌کرد. براي اين منظور، واحدهاي جديدي از جمله طراحي و مهندسي صنايع، شكل گرفتند. در سال 1381 عمدة تمركز شركت نيلپر بر روي اصلاح و توسعه‌ سيستم‌ها بود. از سال 1381 به بعد، به تدريج اين شركت، آموزش‌هاي وسيعي را در موضوعات مختلف، آغاز كرد. با پشت سر گذاشتن اين آموزش‌ها، از سال 1382، نيلپر به دانش مديريت استراتژيك احاطه يافت و واحدهاي شركت، استراتژي هاي مشخص و مدوني را به کار بردند. به تدريج در آن سال، محل توليد با كمك و هم فكري مشاورين، تغيير يافت و كارخانة وسيع و مجهزي در شهرك بهارستان، تأسيس شد. به اين ترتيب، از يك مكان با مساحت حدودي2000 متر مربع، به كارخانه‌اي با وسعت 36000 متر مربع با حدود 5000 متر مربع سوله، نقل مكان انجام شد. در کليه امور مرتبط به اين انتقال، اعم از مكان‌يابي و تأسيس كارخانه، اصول علمي مورد تأكيد مشاوران در نظر گرفته شد.
