Mutha FM started because there are no progressive radio stations in South Africa. On a global level, Muttville provides information about caring for older dogs and support for people who do.

Through associations with shelters and other animal organizations, Muttville finds senior dogs that have been given up and are not likely to find adopted homes. Through outreach and networking, Muttville finds suitable new homes for these dogs. Ultimately, Muttville will have its own facility to house dogs that are not yet placed, or that are unlikely to be placed.

La Fédération nationale de la Mutualité Française (FNMF) est une organisation professionnelle à laquelle 95% des mutuelles santé régies par le Code de la Mutualité sont adhérentes. Elle est représentée au niveau local par les unions régionales. Son rôle : être le porte-parole des mutuelles et des unions qui la composent auprès des pouvoirs publics et des institutionnels. Elle est présidée par Thierry Beaudet depuis juin 2016.

Comme tout syndicat professionnel, la FNMF défend les intérêts collectifs de ses mutuelles adhérentes. Mais ses missions sont plus larges. La Fédération leur propose toute une gamme de services : aide au développement, prévention, prestation de conseils, notamment juridiques, analyses sur l'économie mutualiste et son environnement concurrentiel, expertises diverses, formation. Elle soutient également les structures de soins et d'accompagnement (centres de santé, hôpitaux, crèches, Ehpad …) gérées par ses mutuelles adhérentes sur l'ensemble du territoire.

Het Houtens Muziek Collectief is de muziekschool van Houten.

Bij het HMC volgen wekelijks ongeveer 1000 leerlingen muziek- of zangles of spelen er in een band, orkest, ensemble of zingen er in een koor. Bij het HMC is er ruimte voor een lange muzikale carriere, de lessen beginnen al voor kinderen vanaf zes maanden oud maar zijn ook voor mensen ver in de seniore leeftijd en alles daartussen. Door de 38 docenten van het HMC worden muziek- en zanglessen geboden in vrijwel alle gangbare instrumenten.

Het Houtens Muziek Collectief werd in 1999 opgericht nadat de gemeentelijke muziekschool (opgericht in 1975 toen Houten nog 4000 inwoners had) was wegbezuinigd: 23 docenten zijn toen bij elkaar gaan zitten omdat zij het jammer vonden dat er geen muziekles meer zou zijn vanuit een centrale plek. Dat heeft Houten geweten: vanaf 1999 is het aantal muziekdocenten gestegen van 23 naar 38 en het aantal leerlingen van 400 naar ruim 1000. Daarmee is het HMC, gezien het aantal inwoners van Houten, relatief de grootste ‘muziekschool' van de Provincie Utrecht.

Hoewel het HMC wel op een muziekschool lijkt en zich ook zo profileert, is het dat eigenlijk niet. Het HMC is een vereniging die zorgt voor goede lesruimten, instrumenten en PR en de muziekdocenten zijn lid van deze vereniging. De docenten zijn allen zelfstandig ondernemer en hebben een zelfstandige lespraktijk onder de paraplu van het HMC. De cont(r)acten tussen leerlingen en docent worden niet via het HMC aangegaan, maar voor de rest zijn er weinig verschillen met een "traditionele" muziekschool.
