Located in the province of Nor Lípez in the Department of Potosí, Minera San Cristobal S.A. is the most important mining undertaking of Bolivia. The Minera Tres Valles project consists of two mines: the Papomono underground mine and the Don Gabriel open pit mine, both located in the Manquehua gorge of the Chalinga Valley.
