Model European Union Strasbourg is a is a week-long simulation of the European Union (EU) that takes place annually during April on the premises of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

The conference hosts around 180 highly-motivated young people between the age of 18 and 26 with not only a background in International Relations, Political Science and European Affairs but also Law, History or Interpreting; the 2016 edition had participants from 41 different countries.

The main purpose of the conference is the simulation of the EU's decision-making process, primarily centered on co-decision process between the European Parliament and the Council of the EU.

During the conference the participants are playing the roles of ministers of the EU member states, Members of the European Parliament, Lobbyists, Journalists and Interpreters; within these roles the participants try to follow legislative procedure and to shape two given legal texts according to their interests

The association behind the simulation is 'Bringing Europeans Together Association'​. BETA was founded in 2008 to provide organisational support and a legal basis for MEU Strasbourg and to support other simulations of EU across Europe. It is a non-profit, politically independent organisation that seeks to empower young Europeans and facilitate intercultural exchanges within Europe and beyond.
