It was established by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in 1988 to provide the world with a clear scientific view on the current state of knowledge in climate change and its potential environmental and socio-economic impacts. In the same year, the UN General Assembly endorsed the action by WMO and UNEP in jointly establishing the IPCC.

The IPCC is a scientific body. It reviews and assesses the most recent scientific, technical and socio-economic information produced worldwide relevant to the understanding of climate change. It does not conduct any research nor does it monitor climate related data or parameters.

Thousands of scientists from all over the world contribute to the work of the IPCC on a voluntary basis. Review is an essential part of the IPCC process, to ensure an objective and complete assessment of current information. IPCC aims to reflect a range of views and expertise. The Secretariat coordinates all the IPCC work and liaises with Governments. It is supported by WMO and UNEP and hosted at WMO headquarters in Geneva.

Our adventure started in 1970 with the researches of perlite mine in the Aegean region.

The first two companies of the Group was İzmir Perlit Mining and Industry Co. ( 1972 ) and Perlisan Mining And Construction Co. (1981). These companies started the operational activities in the perlite quarries in Maruflar and Bademalan region

Internet Port Hamburg (IPHH) wurde 1996 in der Tat in einer Garage gegründet. Wenn auch ohne Lieferpizza. Neben der in IT-Kreisen fast zwangsläufigen Standortwahl waren Kundenorientierung, der Einsatz neuester Technik und nicht zuletzt hochqualifiziertes Personal erfolgsentscheidend für die rasante Entwicklung von IPHH.

Auf die Garage folgte 1997 konsequent der Umzug auf ein Parkhaus im Mediadeck am Rödingsmarkt.

Nach zwei Jahren expandierten wir weiter und bezogen unsere neuen Räumlichkeiten in der Großen Reichenstraße. Diesmal neben einem Parkhaus.

2009 erfolgte unser letzter Standortwechsel in den Netzwerk-Infrastrukturknoten Hamburg City Süd. Nun endlich mit eigenem Parkhaus.

IPH Schools was founded on the God-given vision for the education of Indonesia on the year of 1995. Initially a Playgroup in a house at Nginden Intan Timur F1/5 with only 24 students, the school, in accordance with the will of God, grew and opened up the kindergarten and elementary level of education at Nginden Intan Barat C1/39.

Up to the year of 2000, parents and students from the West, East, and South regions of Surabaya willingly took up on the challenge to travel a considerable length of time for the sake of obtaining education in IPH. In response to this need, IPH West, a second branch of the school, was opened in 2001 with classes for the Playgroup and Kindergarten levels. At the same time, the need for expansion in IPH East became more pressing. Finally, in 2002, the new IPH East school building was opened at Raya Kedung Baruk with God's grace.

A year after the relocation of the entire elementary level to the new building, IPH East middle school was launched with 15 students, subsequently followed with the opening of IPH East high school in 2006. In 2007, after going through much preparation and aided by prayer, IPH Schools has not only stood as a National Plus school but has also been acknowledged internationally as one of the 'Cambridge Centers.' In 2008, the IPH West elementary school building was opened.

The board of the school has seen that it is only by God's involvement and mercy that IPH Schools, having gone through so much development and growth, is now accepted and acknowledged by the people and the education sphere of Surabaya. Through God's grace, IPH has also been blessed with having great relations with the parents, educational institutions, and many Christian organizations both nationally and internationally, so that IPH can today be confident that she will hold on and grow in the vision and mission that God has set for the school.
