La historia de Banco Familiar se remonta al año 1967, cuando un grupo de comerciantes de reconocida trayectoria que daba créditos a sus clientes, decidió formar una empresa, a la que bautizaron Crédito Familiar. El emprendimiento fue creciendo y, en el año 1992, se convirtió en Financiera Familiar.

Pionera al llegar al interior del país, cuenta hoy con una Red Nacional de 32 Sucursales que operan en Asunción y en 16 localidades del interior del país, y a través de la cual atiende a clientes y al público en general.
