No ano de 1962, um jovem casal de educadores, professores Pedro Paulo de Bragança e sua esposa, Terezinha, concretiza um sonho há anos acalentado e abre sua primeira escola: o Educandário Santa Inês – internato de educação primária que atendia, somente a meninos de famílias de baixa renda. Seis anos se passaram e o casal, em 1968, resolve estender a toda comunidade de Santíssimo e vizinhança, seu ensino de qualidade e o Educandário passa a se chamar, então, Colégio Novo Rio, instituição de educação primária e ginasial, de freqüência mista (meninos e meninas) em regime de externato, com o principal objetivo de contribuir para a formação e desenvolvimento integral do educando.

Em 1975, o Novo Rio já servia à comunidade por sete anos com apenas o 1º grau. Foi então que o casal, imbuído pelo espírito empreendedor e por seu dinamismo, vislumbrou que o crescimento industrial e, conseqüentemente, populacional, da Zona Oeste não tardaria. Ethos Veterinary Health is the result of the merger of four specialty hospital groups that have worked closely together over the past eight years: IVG Hospitals in New England, Premier Veterinary Group in Chicago, Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Denver and Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego. In April 2016, we were pleased to welcome Peak Veterinary Referral Center to our network.
