Exeter City Football Club, nicknamed 'the Grecians'​, is a supporters-owned football club that plays in Sky Bet League 2.

The club has a long and proud history, dating back to its formation in 1901 as a merger between St Sidwell's United and Exeter United. Since its inception, the club has played its home matches at St James Park in the heart of the city of Exeter.

One of most famous associations of the club is with the Seleção Brasileira - the Brazilian national football team. Exeter City were touring South America in 1914, and faced a representative squad in Rio de Janeiro which became recognised by FIFA as the first inception of the national side. To mark the centenary of the formation, Exeter City will also travel back to Brazil in July 2014 to face Fluminense at the Estádio das Laranjeiras, where the original fixture was hosted 100 years before.

Exeter City Supporters'​ Trust became majority owners of the club in 2003. The Trust hadn't been able to save the club from relegation out of the Football League, but through the passion and hard work of the supporters, they were able to save the club from liquidation through times of financial uncertainty. Over a decade on, the Trust is still the proud majority shareholder of the club.

Exeter City were promoted back into the Football League in 2008 via a play-off final at Wembley Stadium under the guidance of recently-appointed manager Paul Tisdale, and were promoted up to League 1 the following season to cap a sensational couple of years on the field.

The mission of Emergency Food Network (EFN) is "to provide Pierce County with a consistent, diverse, and nutritious food supply so that no person goes hungry."

More than 1.3 million visits were made to food pantries in Pierce County each year. Emergency Food Network aided these visits by providing more than 14.8 million pounds of food to the 68 food pantries, meal sites, and shelters it serves. Each time a community member walks into a food program with nothing, Emergency Food Network ensures they walk out with enough food for nine meals.

Emergency Food Network operates two distinct programs: the Distribution Center and Mother Earth Farm. The 20,000 square foot Distribution Center is located in Lakewood and is the agency's storage, distribution, and administrative center. The Repack Project is hosted in this Distribution Center. EFN's Mother Earth Farm is an 8-acre organic farm located in Puyallup that yields roughly 100,000 pounds of fresh produce annually.

With its combination of a working farm, Repack Project, and distribution warehouse, Emergency Food Network is unique. It is one of the only non-profit emergency food distribution centers in the country capable of growing, purchasing, storing and distributing food—taking food straight from the land to the tables of those in need.

EFRAG – European Financial Reporting Advisory Group - was established in 2001 with the encouragement of the European Commission to provide input into the development of IFRS as issued by the IASB, and to provide the European Commission with technical expertise and advice on accounting matters.

On 31 October 2014, EFRAG's new governance structure (EFRAG statutes and internal rules) came into force as a result of implementing the recommendations included in the Maystadt report "Should IFRS standards be more ‘European'?".

EFRAG's principal role and activities are aimed at ensuring that European views on the development of financial reporting are properly and clearly articulated in the standard-setting process in such a way that the resulting standards are acceptable for Europe without further amendments. With the reform, EFRAG's mandate is widened so that both its participation in the standard-setting process and its endorsement advice are based on supplementary assessments of whether the IFRS proposals/requirements are conducive to the European public good. This includes the interaction with economic concerns such as financial stability and growth.

EFRAG is achieving its mission through both its participation in the IASB's consultation process and its proactive work. EFRAG also provides the European Commission with technical expertise and advice on the technical quality of IFRS that the European Commission decides to consider for endorsement.

Efranat Ltd. is a clinical stage biotech company focused on immunotherapy for solid tumor cancers and viral diseases (e.g., HPV), starting with an HPV-related orphan indication (recurrent respiratory papillomatosis(RRP)). The company's lead compound, EF-022, is a lectin-receptor activator that modulates suppressor macrophages and tolerogenic dendritic cells.

EF-022 stabilized disease in 25% of cancer patients (n=24) with refractory tumors that had been deemed incurable in a Phase I study (EF-022 was the fourth line of treatment for over a third of them). The results were especially encouraging in patients whose disease progressed after treatment with PD-1 inhibitors: 40% of patients deteriorating after treatment with PD-1 inhibitors (2 out of 5) showed Stable Disease (SD) after treatment with EF-022.

EF-022 has also shown encouraging results in a compassionate use case for the orphan disease recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP), which is characterized by the recurrent growth of wart-like tumors in the respiratory tract, mainly in children. RRP, with an estimated 2,500 new juvenile cases per year in the US, can be a life-threatening condition due to airway obstruction, with multiple surgeries (often eight to ten per year) as the only available treatment today.
