Aujourd'hui, près de 145 000 personnes travaillent au sein du ministère de l'Économie et des Finances, en région et à Paris. Service aux usagers, affaires juridiques, développement économique, pilotage de la performance… Ce sont plus de 160 métiers qui sont exercés dans les administrations de Bercy. La diversité de ces secteurs d'activités, souvent méconnue, permet de construire des parcours professionnels riches et adaptés aux profils de chacun.

Comment rejoindre les services de Bercy ? Tous les ans, de nombreux concours de tous niveaux sont organisés. Des procédures de recrutement sans concours existent également, pour les travailleurs handicapés et les jeunes sans qualification par exemple. Des agents contractuels, en CDD ou CDI, peuvent aussi être recrutés pour exercer des missions spécifiques. Ainsi, en 2014, les ministères de Bercy comptaient environ 1900 contractuels. Et comme dans l'ensemble des administrations publiques, l'apprentissage fait aussi partie intégrante de la politique mise en place par les services de ressources humaines (650 contrats entre septembre 2015 et septembre 2016).
