La Empresa Periodística El Observador fue fundada el 26 de septiembre de 1970, por su actual Director, Roberto Silva Bijit, cuando tenía sólo 21 años de edad.

Durante su primer año de vida, la publicación fue impresa en la rotativa del diario 'La Unión' de Valparaíso, hasta que, en enero de 1972, nacieron los talleres gráficos propios, con la adquisición de una linotipia y una prensa plana tamaño cuarto. Luego, en un galopón ubicado en el Barrio Industrial de Quillota, se instaló una moderna Rotativa Alemana de 9 unidades en la cual se imprimen sus ediciones en la actualidad.

En julio de 2004 la empresa fundó el diario 'El Observador' de Aconcagua, para brindar cobertura informativa a las provincias de San Felipe y Los Andes. A estos medios de comunicación escritos se suman las radios 'La Calera' y 'Quillota', que transmiten en Frecuencia Modulada, con cobertura en la Provincia de Quillota.

Stichting Dierenhulp Dierenambulance Tiel is er voor alle dieren in nood in de gemeenten Tiel, Geldermalsen, Buren, Lingewaal en vooralsnog ook de gemeentes Neerijnen en Neder-Betuwe. Wij verlenen eerste hulp aan gewonde dieren en bevrijden dieren uit benarde posities. Dit doen wij 24 uur per dag - 7 dagen per week.

Wordt uw huisdier vermist of heeft u een dier gevonden? Wij registreren alle dieren die binnen komen of die als vermist worden opgegeven. Ook verzorgen wij de opvang en herplaatsing van huis- en hoefdieren en dieren uit de natuur.

Daarnaast kunt u uw huisdier bij ons laten chippen, zodat wanneer hij of zij bij vermissing gevonden wordt, sneller duidelijk wordt dat u het baasje bent.

Maar Stichting Dierenhulp Dierenambulance Tiel doet meer dan het verzorgen van dieren en registreren van vermiste en gevonden dieren. Zo kunt u ons ook bellen voor taxiritten. Dit is handig wanneer u uw huisdier zelf niet kunt vervoeren.Ook geven wij voorlichting op scholen en verenigingen en stellen wij informatie beschikbaar voor spreekbeurten.

Verder stellen wij calamiteiten en rampenplannen op, kunt u via ons de crematie of begrafenis van uw huisdier regelen en zijn wij een officieel meldpunt anti-jacht.

Leeuwen, buffels, stokstaartjes, giraffen… In DierenPark Amersfoort wonen wel 150 verschillende diersoorten die je van dichtbij kunt bekijken!

Tijdens het bezoek wordt je betoverd door de ingewikkelde gangenstelsels van de parasolmieren, zie je olifantje Yunha opgroeien en loop je tussen nachtdieren in de donkere Nacht. In het kindgerichte park leert jong en oud de dieren op een unieke manier kennen met de Klim Alles-route. Via dit speelse parcours klauteren bezoekers met een touwbrug over de bruine beer, glijden door de volière en kruipen onder het verblijf van de hyena's door. Elke dag kunnen bezoekers de dierverzorgers ontmoeten, de dierexperts beantwoorden alle vragen van het publiek terwijl de dieren genieten van een lekkere hap. Op woensdagmiddag en in het weekend kan iedereen zijn angst overwinnen bij Koele Knuffels en een vogelspin, slang of sissende kakkerlak vasthouden.

Een bijzonder gedeelte van het DierenPark is het unieke DinoPark. In dit bos maken bezoekers een reis door de tijd en komen zij in een woud vol dino's terecht! Hier ontdekt men ruim zeventig levensgrote dinosauriërs, kinderen kunnen testen of zij sneller zijn dan de gevaarlijke T-rex en zweven mee met de vliegende Pterodactylus. Dinokenners kunnen een dinoskelet op te graven als een echte archeoloog. Schrik niet, in het DinoPark sta je ook oog in oog met levende dino's zoals indrukwekkende reuzenschildpadden en de kleurrijke helmkasuaris.
