• To purchase bicycles for pupils of Ernest Bevin College (EBC) - money has already been raised for this and the bicycles will be used by the pupils on educational trips and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions;

• To promote cycling awareness and safety for school children in Wandsworth Borough;

• To increase the number of students cycling to school (currently only a handful of EBC students cycle); and

• To develop educational material along route. To be utilised by the staff and the wider teaching community.

Proposed Outcomes:

• To negotiate with a bicycle shop to support the project and provide bicycles, at a discounted rate, for the school and pupils at the school;

• To increase the number of students cycling to school by 10% in the first year and 5% – 10% each year thereafter; and
