Het Corso Valkenswaard rijdt jaarlijks, steeds op de 2e zondag van september, door de straten van Valkenswaard. Een dahliaparade van 14 prachtige bloemenwagens vormen tezamen met diverse harmonieën en fanfares een prachtig kijk – en luistergenot voor een 30.000 koppig publiek. Op en rond het parcours is aan iedereen gedacht; van kinderplein tot dweilorkest en van foodtruck festival tot straattheater.

In 2016 wordt de vijfhonderdste sterfdag van Jheronimus Bosch herdacht. Dit gebeurt in de vorm van een meerjarenprogramma vol sociaal-culturele, wetenschappelijke en artistieke activiteiten in Den Bosch en ver daarbuiten. Corso Valkenswaard zal tezamen met vele andere evenementen in 2016, op geheel eigen wijze invulling geven aan de herdenking van Jheronimus Bosch 500. Met ‘Fantastische Visioenen' geeft het corso haar veertien ontwerpers en buurtschappen de uitdaging om een rijdend kunstwerk te maken ‘vrij naar Jheronimus Bosch'.
