Baruch's Spiritual Care Department includes two full-time Chaplains and two part-time staff members who regularly visit each Baruch community to personally lead worship, memorial services, Bible studies, and to make one-to-one pastoral calls to individual residents and staff. Our Spiritual Care Coordinator also works with local churches, pastors, and lay people to provide worship services and Bible studies for residents on an on-going basis.

British Antarctic Survey (BAS) is a component of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC). Based in Cambridge, United Kingdom, it has, for almost 60 years, undertaken the majority of Britain's scientific research on and around the Antarctic continent. It now shares that continent with scientists from over thirty countries.

BAS employs over 400 staff, and supports three stations in the Antarctic, at Rothera, Halley and Signy, and two stations on South Georgia, at King Edward Point and Bird Island. The Antarctic operations and science programmes are executed and managed from Cambridge, and rely on a wide-ranging team of professional staff.

Ice-strengthened ships sustain the Antarctic operations. RRS James Clark Ross has advanced facilities for oceanographic research. RRS Ernest Shackleton is primarily a logistics ship used for the resupply of stations. The Royal Navy's Ice Patrol Vessel HMS Endurance has helicopters and provides valuable logistic support. Four Twin Otter aircraft fitted with wheels and skis are operated from Rothera and Halley, while a wheels-only Dash-7 aircraft provides the inter-continental air-link from Rothera to the Falkland Islands, and flies inland to blue ice runways.

Bahrain Airport Services [BAS] was founded in 1977 to provide fully integrated airport services at Bahrain International Airport. Supported by a human capital of approximately 3000 staff, BAS is an ISAGO accredited Ground Service Provider which owns and operates four distinct business units.

1. Airport & Ground Operations: Our Operations division has a handling capacity of 9 million passengers annually. It currently serves 35 different airlines providing a comprehensive range of ground handling services including passenger and ramp handling, dispatch and aircraft load control, special services, baggage handling, etc.

2. Cargo Services: Our Cargo division handles 280,000 tonnes of freight annually including import, export and trans-shipment. The Cargo Terminal encompasses an area of 19,000 square meters with a multi-bay storage racking warehouse and a range of special facilities for perishables, valuables, dangerous goods and livestock.

3. Catering Services: The modern In-Flight Catering infrastructure covers an area of approximately 11,000 square meters and has a maximum production capacity of 35,000 meals daily. An average of 500,000 meals per month is currently produced to satisfy 125 different menus and provide seamless transport "from-production-to-aircraft".

4. Aircraft Maintenance Services: Provides line maintenance, technical certification and troubleshooting under EASA Part-145 Maintenance Organization Approval. It handles a total of 8,000 aircraft maintenance movements annually.

BAS also operates a fully owned subsidiary, BAS Aircraft Engineering Training Centre [BAETC]: www.baetc.org.
