Our school is what it is today because of our belief in and commitment to building and maintaining a caring partnership between the hard-working, ambitious and determined staff, parent board and alumni. We recently celebrated our 60th anniversary and continue to grow each year. Several new classrooms and a new multi-purpose building have been added in recent years to accommodate this growth.

Our mission has always been to promote academic excellence, and inspire our students to develop themselves and become critical thinkers and future leaders. The relationship we build with our students extends beyond the years they are actively enrolled at the school. Alumni are extremely important assets to our school because they represent the past and future of AISJ. This year, 2014, we have formally launched an alumni program with the hiring of an Alumni and PR Coordinator, Lyra Hardy (an alumni from PCS/Saudia-SAIS) who will be overseeing the launching of the Alumni Association.

One of the many projects for the Alumni Association is the AISJ Stories Project, in which students, staff, and alumni will be able to record and share personal stories and experiences they had with the school. Many benefits come along with this project, including getting back in touch with your circle of friends and teachers from school, and reliving your experiences. The association also plans to provide AISJ students with scholarships, financial support to the school, and highlight distinguished alumna/alumnus at an annual commencement and on an "Alumni Wall of Fame".

It is our vision to ensure that students graduate from our school knowing that they have been well prepared to face life as they move to colleges and universities around the world and to create a platform from which they can support and inspire other AISJ students and alumni.

Acorn Infrastructure Service Limited is a concern on Bangla Trac Limited (BanglaCAT). 100 MW x 2 AISL HFO based Power Plant is built with Sate of the Art Technology, using the Caterpillar 16CM43 Model reciprocating Engine which is manufactured in Germany. The Plant uses most fuel efficient engines and the best quality of material and service, which has helped to make this Plant one of the best installed HFO based Power Plant in Bangladesh. Since announcement of the Commercial Operation on 26th March 2012, its Power Plant is the most utilized HFO based Power Plant in the country and has even reduced generation cost and tariff to the Government.
