Adcote School was founded in 1907 and is a thriving independent boarding and day school for over 300 girls with just under 50% boarding. The school is located near Shrewsbury, in a Grade I listed building amidst spacious grounds.

In 2011, 2014 & 2015 the school was shortlisted for in the prestigious annual Independent School Awards. In 2012, the school won the Independent Schools Association 'Award for Excellence'.
